Edinburgh!

So in October, me and my family visited Edinburgh for a few days, and I absolutely loved it! It was so beautiful, all the buildings, the castle, the atmosphere, everything! Even the bagpipes were annoyingly Scottish, which I absolutely loved. We went site seeing mainly, as well as going to the zoo, and doing some shopping (I even bought a tartan scarf- how Scottish!). I never got to do a post about this, so I thought I would now include some photos of my experience of Edinburgh.

We travelled by train, which for a long journey I have never really done before, however I much preferred it to flying or driving! We even upgraded to first class which was really nice! In kings cross station whilst we were waiting for out train, there was a Harry Potter shop which had some really interesting things in.

Our apartment we stayed in was so lovely, and I got a double bed room all to myself which was nice, and the view in my room looked straight on to the royal mile street was so pretty. You could even hear the bagpipes being played in the street!

 

That was the view from Edinburgh castle, which was so so pretty! The view was amazing, and the castle itself was great too. We even stopped in the cafe and I had a super nice chocolate cake!

We then went on a walk around the area, which was so lovely, all the buildings looked so historic and beautiful. 

We then went to Edinburgh zoo, which was amazing because I am a huge animal fan, and this is probably the best zoo I have been to. You were able to get to close to the animals, especially the zebra, and we saw the only 2 pandas in the UK! 

On the final night, we went out for a meal, this is what I wore: black dress from primark, chelsea boots from new look, necklace from new look, nail polish by Barbara Daley.

What have you been up to this month?

Haul!

I've been trying to put myself on a spending ban for the past few weeks, so that I can start saving my money to buy things from my holiday, however the other day I went out to Bluewater with my family, and bought a few things because I just couldn't resist! My excuse though, is that some of these things are actually for my holiday!
